You read that correctly. You could receive up to $25,000 in down payment assistance towards the purchase of a home. I'll explain how you could qualify. 

Have you heard about the Hometown Heroes Program? It's this great program that rolled out in June of 2022 to help service members with purchasing a home. 

Qualifying heroes include: Firefighters, EMS, Law Enforcement, Military (Active, Reserved & Veteran's), Healthcare Professionals, and Teachers. 

Eligible applicants could receive 5% or up to $25,000 of their mortgage loan amount to use towards the down payment.
